giselle explaining the kiss n tell lore 🌙 originally, kiss n tell was supposed to be a b-side. it was a b-side on a korean album... or was it on a japanese one? anyway, it was originally just a regular b-side track. but honestly, the song was just so, so, so good that i talked to the members about it. i was like, “what if we just made our comeback with kiss n tell instead?” like, instead of songs like lemonade and all that. I actually suggested that. i just really liked kiss n tell… it was completely my style. i kept thinking, “i really want to make a comeback with this song.” but realistically, it didn't really fit aespa's overall concept. still, we thought it might work well for a japanese album, so i asked the members, “what do you think about making it the japanese title track?” we all talked about it together, and that's how we ended up choosing kiss n tell as the title track. personally, it's a song i really, really love, so i hope you all end up loving it a lot too

Mew : Looking at the lyrics, the first verse starts from the moment of waking up. I wrote it when we were on a cruise, we went to the Caribbean together. The image of sunlight shining on his face, that messy, bedhead look right after waking up... just how incredibly cute he was 😆 Mew : The next verse talks about things we’ve experienced together, such as when we went traveling and missed a train. When we look back on it now, it’s actually funny. Or when it suddenly started raining and we didn’t have an umbrella, so we had to take off a shirt and cover ourselves. In those moments, the imperfection somehow became perfect for us. 🗣️: So this is all based on a true story? Mew: All of it is real. 🗣️: Not a scene from a series? 😂 Mew: No, it really happened. 💬 what is the song that you think turned out the best, or the one who have the most affection for (excluding the one being released now) 🍑 i think it’s super. it was a song that turned seventeen into heroes. when i think about it now, how did we even manage to practice it like that. looking back it is still unbelievable, we matched so well, everything fell into place for this song to be made. we really became heroes through that song, so it is my all time favourite song
