New Brunswick renters need access to affordable housing. That’s why, as of February 1, 2025, rent increases will be capped at 3% annually. This measure will help protect renters from rapidly increasing housing costs and eliminate surprise rent hikes. More details will be available later this week. With help from our partners, we will continue to address every piece that is putting pressure on housing across our province so that everyone has access to a safe and affordable place to call home.
