We know sometimes it's difficult to tell how Arco combat works, so I made a small combat demonstration talking about some strategies you can adopt in the game✨ If this helps and you are interested in trying it out, there's a free demo on Steam for you to play 😊

One of my favourite things was using hazards to take out enemies, like exploding cacti, things that pop out of the ground, dynamite, etc. It's just so satisfying luring them into traps

Hey Bibiki, I just finished the game last night. Good stuff, I left a review on steam as well. Is there any impetus to align the hitboxes more properly with the areas shown on screen? So often I would position myself just out of range just to get hit anyways.

Thanks for playing the game! What skill/attack/object are you talking about exactly? Thanks! 🙏

Honestly I think the combat being semi real time turned off a lot of people from playing this. While it looks innovative, and likely is, it also looks frustrating in a not so fun way. Also agree that this type of game benefits from hindsight being made a roguelite.
