It is going to be a home for deep dive video essays, long form interviews, and mini documentaries, each format unique for each story. This week, I am talking to Mary Dague, an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician who lost both of her arms to an IED strike in Iraq. Mary and I have been friends for years and hearing her story with such detail is hard, but it is a story that needs to be told. Her story of being the first female in her unit, the family that she found in her team, and her recovery are worth listening to. Mary is an incredible human being.
