humanity is seeing a transformation of how software is built and it's accelerating needless to say this creates a remarkable opportunity for many of us we started lovabe, now a small eclectic team, to make it possible for more people to win from this opportunity currently, lovable does what the current frontier models do best – create tools and real products from scratch, significantly faster than writing code over time what we do will be a different story. most software is shitty, we want it to be lovable. this means: the feeling you get from using @linear, @apple, @slackhq to achieve this we are building towards a platform that enables more people with good ideas and great product taste to build – and get commercial traction – fast more specifically our mission is in two parts goals, as an editor with a passionate community: 1. more: ideas -> prototype -> validated -> launched 2. more great products built with lovable breaking through the noise commercially 3. saas starting to get replaced by custom tools – or solopreneurs built alternatives goals, as a platform for AI builders and software consumers: 1. meritocratic distribution, quality wins 2. zero "apple tax" for creators 3. customisable software (= ask your AI software engineer to edit software to perfectly fit your needs) 4. seamless data, privacy and billing control across software as a user with zero lock-in for both creators and the consumers we believe more people want this if it resonates, a community of commercial AI builders just launched (currently selective, DM/comment for invite) regardless if we succeed or not – we are going to do our best to push the boundaries of how fast both devs and non-devs can make real products with AI. again, this is an amazing decade to be alive and experience. me and the team honestly can't wait to see what humanity achieves together. //2

many ask for concrete examples for why users consistently say "absolutely mind blowing" about @lovable_dev / already today, so here we go @brntssn built a mocked AI feature for @epidemicsound (500 people scaleup) that overtook other ideas for quarterly planning because it was much more vivid and clear than figma/document @niklasvatn, frustrated with bloated pdf merge tools, and built a zero clutter (customisable) version @harry_aldian launched to let anyone categorise and search their photo library, it became one of the top launches on @producthunt //3

The idea is great but the execution is still far from perfect. So much more precision is needed to make it a usable product, and a much higher limit is essential until the product becomes really good. The limit you offer today is reached too fast simply because Lovable doesn’t execute properly all the prompts. A bit unfair to your early adopters imo.
