We lived a simple life in a simple era.

The 80’s era was the BEST years of my life!

It was awesome! People were mostly normal, we didn’t spend life looking at a screen, and your friends were truly important to you.

We had the BEST of every thing in the 80’s!!! Music, Big Hair, Clothes, Cars & Trucks, Homes, food, friends, LIFE…..

Simple. And mostly white.

The internet and smart phones and social media took all of this away.. glad I was there when it happened in the 80's

I was in elementary school in the 80s I miss it

The Music was better - beer was better - the weed was better - girls were girls and boys were boys - our movies were better - concerts filled 100,000 seat stadiums - We had the Beach Boys Play in DC every 4th of July - What have we done to our culture - Sux now

It was seriously one of the most amazing eras I had the privilege of experiencing....and the era I was in the most trouble. 😉

And everyone is smiling and having fun together

These memories are now brought to us because of personal camcorders. you were considered rich to have one back in the day. Infinitely grateful for the chance to show the world what it was like to grow up then. Millions will wish they could go back. I do.

I wouldn't call it a "simple life", more like an "entertaining as f**k" life!

And I agree with the posters, but have 1 bone to pick. The 70s had bell bottoms and powder blue suits for guys. We had mullets and man perms. Could have done without that even back then. Never was a good look.

It was the best time. Full of colors and music and hair. Jokes were still jokes. How did we end up here.

Tears to my eyes. Even though the 80s I was just starting elementary school. This is a time with the best music, and the most nostalgia.
