it’s interesting that you posted this, because i actually talked about this on my stream today. i think it’s a real shame when people use charlie’s death as a talking point to justify extremism or promote ideas that he himself did not stand for. i don’t believe he would have wanted his death used to encourage violence or push the very kind of extremism he opposed.

I say this a lot now a days but Kirk should have changed the world through his life , walking with all of us. Not by having it taken away.

I'm not making peace with anyone who celebrates Charlie's death. I will make peace with anyone who stepped away from the ranks of the Communist cult because they didn't like the fact one of their own killed an innocent man, nor the reactions of their fellow cultists.

His memory is not honored in bitterness. This does not mean we should be weak or allow our enemies to harm us. But we should always protect our grace.

It’s very difficult to reason with a cult. Cult members are indoctrinated and have severe cases of cognitive dissonance which is an emotional reaction to conflicting information. The only way to get through to them is through repeated exposure to opposing information to their worldview, HOWEVER this is only going to affect a very small portion of cultists. You will have only a few who will have the mental fortitude to change their minds. It’s not going to work for the majority of them. And unfortunately there really is no other way to snap them out of their indoctrination. I say this from experience as an apostate of a religious cult who has lost most people in my life.
