I am Irish and the occupation has never ended for us. Now we are occupied by the criminal political classes of the EU. I lived in the Middle East for 20 years and some of the kindest people I met were Palestinians, people whose families would willingly share a meal with a stranger and if you used the words, "Can you help me..." they would quickly answer yes without needing to know what help was required. I had a dear friend in Saudi, Anwar Mohsen, who sadly passed from cancer about 10 years ago, I think of him and his family often and I think of his homeland that now lies under rubble. Tragic.
