We love you, Barry.

And on top of all of that, he rocked the greatest mullet ever.

The piece mentioned by Tony at the end:

I remember coming home from school and watching Barry on Sportscenter talk about hockey in an interesting way. One of the best analysts ever on ESPN. Rip

Going to say this now. Thank you Tony and Mike for the years of awesome sports talk. When I was a child, I rushed off the bus to turn on PTI at 3:30. As an adult, I watch PTI every day after work. You two are the most prominent sports voices of my life. Thank you

The L.A. Kings legend himself. Such an engaging figure, he brought in folks like me who could give a shit about hockey but loved a good story

Because of this show i knew he was lost a real one

😭R.I.P

of course it couldn't be ANY of those POS Fox-News-like UM haters at SportsCenter...or their MASTERS. 🤦‍♂️

He always made me remember Rod Langways flowing locks without helmet at my first Caps game at the old Capital Centre….☺️

I’m not much of a hockey fan. Everything I know about Hockey I learn from Barry Melrose as a kid. He was the best!

Thank you Boys

He had the best laugh

Barry is a legend i always enjoyed watching him made me get into hockey rip goat
