We may have a major new Gravity Cannon Jump Tech 👀

This is an odd interaction I got when doing the crouching inspect on the pylon grav cannon. Wonder if u have any thoughts.

It’s too simple to have not been found before, so this has to be a new “bug”. They must have changed something in the code that accidentally altered the cannons

Every time some new tech arrives we have people saying they have been doing this forever. And i'd love to actually have someone proof that for once. So we can shine a light on some overlooked innovator. Until then this principle applies:

I noticed since the start of the split that the cannon downhill from storm catcher would always launch me to the side when I crouch at the very start of the cannon, so it’s existed for at least a month or two

Literally this has been a thing since the start- it ain't new. Back when I was a horizon main in season 12 I did this.

Ive been doing the thing where it sends u to the side for abt 2 szns now and it doesnt require a melee at all and I found it works best. If you walk forwards, then backwards into the corner but i've also noticed that it doesn't work on all cannons

Was there a different method of having the gravity canon sending you to the side in the past? Like a more complicated setup? if so, maybe people are the new sideways grav canon launch setup with that.

the cannons definitely changed a bit bc the inner upper walls of it are real now and you can wall bounce or wall ride them too.

also the controller noob tapstrafe on the pad has 0 momentum cap! @mokeysniper
