Local media report the strike killed 1 person and wounded several others. Al-Da’ma told Drop Site contributor Mohammed Ahmed that the tent housed a family of four: a man, his wife, their young son, and the man’s uncle. Just 15 minutes before the strike, he said, a water truck had pulled up and the schoolyard’s children, boys aged 10 and under who play soccer there, had rushed out to fill their containers. Until when will it be a problem what jersey someone wears, which team someone supports, where someone can walk, and what they are allowed to say? We live in the most beautiful country in the world. All of us have a responsibility, each from our own position, to protect sport. Sport is for these children you see here. It is meant to unite people, to fill stadiums and arenas so that we can all enjoy ourselves. The reality is that one team will win and another will lose. Falcons rant: I would like to know who Cam, Jemele, etc. are speaking to when fielding opinions on the Falcons. It’s clearly no one who has watched this team play football for the last 5-6 years. It’s definitely no one who actually watches this team when they have a losing record. It honestly feels like they saw the comment section of DC’s video and they’ve just ran with it. The next time someone says that we need a new culture for this team, I’m immediately switching my brain off. Raheem was legitimately a culture hire. He was a players coach. He took a talented roster, and somehow did less with more. This city needs a winning culture. If you want to change the losing perception that surrounds this franchise, then start winning games. That’s how you can create a new life in the building. I want this team to succeed. I want to see this group of people win. I do not want to see major media talking heads speaking for this city when they don’t have a grasp on the things they’re claiming true. It really sucks that negative rhetoric is the only kind of media this city can get. Talking heads claim they know what this city wants/needs, but all they’re doing is attempting to divide the fan base and team even more. I know I’m just complaining to the wind, but I really hope this stops soon. Go Falcons

Samson killed a thousand men with a donkey jawbone. Your boys should know about this. But the gatekeepers don’t want boys to be inspired by brave men. They want moms who buy subscriptions in December. So everything gets sanded down into safe, non-threatening, committee-approved mush that nobody under 40 actually wants to watch. And most importantly, that stale demographic doesn't create pop culture. Tim Ingle walked up to us at a film festival with a beaten up teddy bear drawn on a napkin. The guy worked on Phineas and Ferb. And the pitch was so wild that every distributor in the room passed on it. We believed that’s exactly the kind of show that needs to exist. We've raised over $40k. Fans organized funding blitzes. Kids were mowing lawns to fund the next episode. Men are starving for stories about men who actually did something and we keep feeding them Hallmark slop instead. Bearly Biblical is streaming on LOOR and I think you should watch it with your kids and fund the season to completion.

Great updates today. It has been sad the level of attacks and attempts to be-little what ProffittHarsad Community and dev Team had built and had to endure in order to contribute a solution and a product for everyone. We do use Jupiter quote APIs and Jupiter on-chain Routers. Right now they are the ONLY Transmission/Engines available on chain for us to build the Experience for our users while we build in the coming (weeks) our Engine and own Transmission. Lamborghini is not bad cause it used other manufacturers parts while learning how to build the best for their needs. Red Bull Is not a CAR manufacturer, so you can still add value on top of Engine/Transmissions. Athletico Madrid v Spurs Well, here I am again in Madrid. It’s my 4th time & I’ve not seen us win yet 🤦🏻‍♂️ We all know what happened at the Metropolitano stadium the last time, so I’m hoping for better luck this time. Tudor needs to get this team Performing tonight or he could well be toast soon. I don’t think we will get a result like the last encounter in 1963 when we won 5-1 in the European Cup final. Make no mistake, Simeone’s team is hard to beat at home with an 80% win rate. Atleti are strong, but not vintage, but still, that home advantage is huge. I expect intensity from both teams,plenty of cards, and maybe goals both ways. Their attack is so frightening, which might explain why they’ve scored 24 goals already in the UCL. It’s a big concern when we’ve conceded 2 goals a game for our last 9 games, a club record. Sorloth is a big 6ft 5 Btec Haarland threat, as is the class of Alvarez, and you just know Lookman is going to score against us. They are, however, not as strong defensively as they used to be, so I’m hoping somehow we can exploit that. Despite our lack of goals, we just need to be able to take back something to the Lane next week. With the chance to play a back 3 with Cuti, MVDV, and Danso for the first time that I can remember with Porto and Spence, I’m more hopeful. I’m going to go for a 2-2 draw, delusional probably, but without hope, there’s no point coming here to support the team. New projects are more exciting than old ones that have been running XP Programs since August 2024. YT buyers have no chance. Their XP has already been diluted. If they have to buy YT again, with no clear TGE timeline, they’ll just leave. Don’t be greedy. Do a snapshot, then run Season 2 whenever you like. If you say your TVL dropped because of the bull market and people pulling funds to buy alts, yes, you’re right. But what are you going to do — wait for the next bear market so TVL goes up again? And then there’s no TGE because it's a bear market again? No one will read your long articles. We need real products, not just walls of text. Pressing, transitions and goals in Canada! After the hiring of Jesse Marsch this week by Canada Soccer , there has been lots of talk about pressing and transitions in the football community. This is THE style of play that we have used for the last 5 years with Alliance United FC in @L1OMens and will give you some insight in how this can look. We went away from the 'possession' based 1-4-3-3 that everyone has been using as the 'best way' to develop players and win games. Many say this is the 'right way' of playing. However, we use the players' abilities and inabilities as the starting point and based on players produced in Canada, within our youth system, this is the way we think will get us the best results and help our players get to the next level. You need to understand youth development in our country to understand what is and what is not being taught to young players. This is not a negative outlook, it is just looking at the reality. Many mistake this style of play as just non-stop pressing and chaos. Yes, these two aspects are important but it is a much more deliberate and planned way of playing that is used to predict where the opposition will play the ball, where the ball can be dictated and what areas the opposition leave open for transitions when they attack. In 2019, I was introduced to Ernst Tanner former Academy Director of Red Bull Salzburg and current Philadelphia Union Sporting Director that has led the club to being one of the top clubs in MLS and arguably the best academies in North America the last few years. Both organisations are known for their pressing and fast transitions in addition to producing top players. He became a mentor to me and gave me insights and education on this style of play. He has changed the way I look at football. Every season we try to recruit players that can play this style that I will describe below and we do not waiver in the way we played. Every game since 2019 Alliance United FC have played either in a 1-4-2-2-2 or a 1-4-4-2 midfield diamond....every game. We have no secrets in how we play. We focus on defending, pressing, forcing teams into mistakes and transition football. It is important to understand that we do not care how much possession we have and we actually want the opposition to have the ball most of the time. Stats in football show that only when a team has the ball 70% or more in a match their is a correlation to winning. Anything less is not correlated to winning in a certain match. In addition, 80% of goals are scored under 5 passes or less and under 10 seconds when regaining possession. We follow the trend! So, here are some important points based on the video: a) Pressing higher up the pitch when possible. All 11 players are committed to the team intention (principles) and if anybody is not committed and does not contribute to this style of play, they do not play. There is no leeway on this. Either you are in 100% in or you are not. All it takes is one player to not commit and the plan will not work. If we do not win the ball on the high press, everyone is to drop behind the ball as fast as possible to restart the press closer to our goal. b) Based on the opponent's scouting we press certain players and decide if will press closer to the sideline and 'pin' the player to the sideline or we dictate the passes and dribbles centrally and 'surround' the player to win the ball in central positions. We also decide if we will sometimes drop lower for the opposition to advance so we can play behind them when winning the ball. This is done if we scout that the opposition centre-backs are slower than our two strikers. This means we will 'outrun' them in the space they leave behind. c) When winning the ball we want to exploit space behind their backline as the priority which means that a player(s) need to be passing options behind the backline and preferably centrally which is closer to the goal, players winning the ball has to look to play the ball to the player furthest up the pitch. Possession is not a priority but scoring goals as fast as possible is. d) When winning the ball we stay as central as possible with passes and dribbling. We use the width of the penalty area (44 yards) as the preferable dimension when transitioning. We want to stay within this width. The wider the team plays the ball, the more time the opposition has to block the middle. PLAY AS VERTICALLY AS POSSIBLE! The emphasis is to get the ball to the two strikers and play 1v1 against the CBs. e) We know that most youth players grow up playing against a 1-4-3-3 which means there is one central striker meaning the centre-backs one back press and one can cover. Against 2 strikers this is not possible and many centre-backs do not have the ability to play 1v1 with space behind them. They are not taught the cues to step and press or drop to protect space behind them. They are never taught at youth level. We exploit this deficiency. e) All 11 players must get up the pitch to close the spaces if we lose the ball from our attacking transition so the opposition cannot transition against us and we can counter-press. f) A goal is the best outcome based on the objective of attacking but at the minimum we want to get a shot on goal from a transition. This is a quick overview of a different way of playing football that Canada will see with the Men's National Team.

You need to understand youth development in our country to understand what is and what is not being taught to young players. This is not a negative outlook, it is just looking at the reality. Many mistake this style of play as just non-stop pressing and chaos. Yes, these two aspects are important but it is a much more deliberate and planned way of playing that is used to predict where the opposition will play the ball, where the ball can be dictated and what areas the opposition leave open for transitions when they attack. In 2019, I was introduced to Ernst Tanner former Academy Director of Red Bull Salzburg and current Philadelphia Union Sporting Director that has led the club to being one of the top clubs in MLS and arguably the best academies in North America the last few years. Both organisations are known for their pressing and fast transitions in addition to producing top players. He became a mentor to me and gave me insights and education on this style of play. He has changed the way I look at football. Every season we try to recruit players that can play this style that I will describe below and we do not waiver in the way we played. Every game since 2019 Alliance United FC have played either in a 1-4-2-2-2 or a 1-4-4-2 midfield diamond....every game. We have no secrets in how we play. We focus on defending, pressing, forcing teams into mistakes and transition football. It is important to understand that we do not care how much possession we have and we actually want the opposition to have the ball most of the time. Stats in football show that only when a team has the ball 70% or more in a match their is a correlation to winning. Anything less is not correlated to winning in a certain match. In addition, 80% of goals are scored under 5 passes or less and under 10 seconds when regaining possession. We follow the trend! So, here are some important points based on the video: a) Pressing higher up the pitch when possible. All 11 players are committed to the team intention (principles) and if anybody is not committed and does not contribute to this style of play, they do not play. There is no leeway on this. Either you are in 100% in or you are not. All it takes is one player to not commit and the plan will not work. If we do not win the ball on the high press, everyone is to drop behind the ball as fast as possible to restart the press closer to our goal. b) Based on the opponent's scouting we press certain players and decide if will press closer to the sideline and 'pin' the player to the sideline or we dictate the passes and dribbles centrally and 'surround' the player to win the ball in central positions. We also decide if we will sometimes drop lower for the opposition to advance so we can play behind them when winning the ball. This is done if we scout that the opposition centre-backs are slower than our two strikers. This means we will 'outrun' them in the space they leave behind. c) When winning the ball we want to exploit space behind their backline as the priority which means that a player(s) need to be passing options behind the backline and preferably centrally which is closer to the goal, players winning the ball has to look to play the ball to the player furthest up the pitch. Possession is not a priority but scoring goals as fast as possible is. d) When winning the ball we stay as central as possible with passes and dribbling. We use the width of the penalty area (44 yards) as the preferable dimension when transitioning. We want to stay within this width. The wider the team plays the ball, the more time the opposition has to block the middle. PLAY AS VERTICALLY AS POSSIBLE! The emphasis is to get the ball to the two strikers and play 1v1 against the CBs. e) We know that most youth players grow up playing against a 1-4-3-3 which means there is one central striker meaning the centre-backs one back press and one can cover. Against 2 strikers this is not possible and many centre-backs do not have the ability to play 1v1 with space behind them. They are not taught the cues to step and press or drop to protect space behind them. They are never taught at youth level. We exploit this deficiency. e) All 11 players must get up the pitch to close the spaces if we lose the ball from our attacking transition so the opposition cannot transition against us and we can counter-press. f) A goal is the best outcome based on the objective of attacking but at the minimum we want to get a shot on goal from a transition.
