Honestly, the second intro is just as good. Otonoke is the better song I listen to casually. But On The Way with the visuals is an experience I’m excited to lock in for every episode.

I will say, part of the reason why I'm willing to entertain "On the Way > Otonoke" people is because of how much I adore OTW's open romanticness I may not agree, but I'll never not cherish an OP + intro sequence that unabashed about its love for Momokarun

This intro is so good that the Twitter bitrate quality doesn't even do it justice. There's a genuine reason it was the opening of the year, lightning in a fucking bottle. Even the actual MV is fucking fantastic.

the second season op is pretty hype itself, then you get this and everything else must be thrown out for the oscars. we all know why this was removed out of the runnings, and its because it would have won every single award every year for the rest of our lives.
