As a blue collar worker, this actually inspired me. I’m gonna start bribing security guards for overnight parking.

"The hardship of studying is done while sitting, the hardship of life is endured kneeling down." What a line. I have been learning a bit of chinese from my current roommate, just in case China ends up winning it all.

starts out as a Naked Gun bit ans ends with A beautiful message. They're playing at a whole different game.

Me who just opened twitter after my construction shift is over

American: "If you don't study you'll end up as one of the guys cleaning the streets!" "What guy who cleans the streets?" "Oh yeah... Hmm what happened to him?"

"Don't threaten the future, empower the present" Fucking hell thats gold

I don't care if it's scripted. Some of the best life lessons are learned from scripted work. How many of us grew up learning our values from books and shows?

It’s true, deeply. You can tell as an adult when you’re dealing with someone who’s life lacks a crucible. An untested person who never overcame anything, simply followed rules. Some people need the crucible to see their own power.

He did you a double lesson by flicking that cigarette box

I’ve always hated when ppl look down on other’s jobs, everyone is contributing, there’s no job that should be looked down

"We must become more Chinese" Nice try

Hmm..

It's not about becoming more Chinese, it's about learning that wisdom can come from anywhere and anyone. Respect an individual's insight and value. With that said, thanks for sharing this.

They literally keep society functional.

Just respect people. We all out here working, paying our bills, trying to get by, why people out here trying to make things difficult for customer service people? Mocking sanitation & construction workers? Great respect for those that deserve it. A modicum of respect for others

@skelezorb Very good, and his lil move at the end made me laugh cuz he knew he earned that

Clever way to relay some wisdom.

Those education come from boomer, they love degrading people

Nearly cried. Wow.

Fuck that was beautiful

What a beautiful advice. A change in perspective can change a lot of things.

I don't speak nor understand one bit of Chinese, but I grew up watching a lot of old Stephen Chow movie, and the way he is speaking sounds eerily similar to that, making me ask ; isn't that Cantonese ?

How will a world of fully over educated but under useful work exactly? Sure you can design a million skyscrapers, but you sort of need people to make them a reality.

Incredible answer

Life wisdom wise, you can trust Chinese 100%

I support chinese propaganda

What is this song omfg I need it

Y’all say this shit but in 10 years you gonna be using your starved countrymen’s corpse as fertilizer to meet artificially bolstered grain quotas

Started off chuckling. Ended up feeling contemplative.
