What's the plan when Australia's economy is based on a population ponzi actually costing the economy? There will be 4.3 million more people in Australia by 2035 creating demand for education, healthcare, infrastructure. The Teals will ignore all that and the environmental costs.

.Zack Polanski is right, we don't need a wealth tax for public investment, we can do that anyway, but a wealth tax is one tool to help tackle inequality in our society. Zack is also right that we need to raise Capital Gains Tax, & we should always question the bias of economists!
