Myself and my fellow women governors; H.E Gladys Wanga, H.E Susan Kihika, H.E Cecily Mbarire are victims of these attacks. We will not be silenced, we will not retreat because we stand for change, we stand for progress and we stand for a better future for our people. There is also an alarming trend of femicide that is stripping women of their most basic right - the right to live. Let me remind everyone in this country that life is sacred and people’s lives belong to them and no one has the right to take them.
