This show went over a lot of people's heads. It's ironic that the creators tried to address more mature issues, trusting their viewers' understanding, only to be met with backlash for portraying a character grappling with the realities of life. Sigh!

This was genuinely a great rep for PTSD. I have diagnosed C-PTSD from combat in Iraq as an infantry medic and from SA in 2017 and 2018. It is a haunting, but when you realize that you dictate how it affects you there is a shift and power over the trauma begins to manifest.
