The author died before they could finish. They apparently left notes on how to end things, so the anime was able to piece together at least some kind of ending. But man... I have never wanted a Season 2 for an anime more than Familiar of Zero.

I just started watching this show and I think its great how Louise is pretty much Taiga from Toradora... similar design, same personality, same VA, both Louise and Taiga are just absolute girlfailures, both call their man a dog etc

The only bad thing is that he kept the jacket throught the entire thing. Specially after it got beat to shit. By S3, he should've changed his outfit. Would mean a lot more too cause that would show how better he is fitting with the rest of the world.
