When my parents were in their 90s, I did their lawn care. It was the least I could do.

Why aren't her neighbors helping her out? Everytime I mowed my yard, I also checked my 86 year old neighbor's yard. Three of her neighbors (including me) made sure her lawn was done, and her driveway shoved in winter.

Kindness is one of the easiest emotional actions. The moment you remove the "you" out of most of your thoughts, a world of clarity towards being kind to others, opens up. Sadly, selfishness connected to the mighty dollar and the growth of self-entitlement, have made people only do good for a massive applause or social recognition, not anymore because it is the right thing to do. What a shame in society in 2026🫣

All those neighbors around her and not one offered to help her or have their kids mow her yard. Someone should paint her house for her too.

I bet,those 6 kids will show up after she die trying to possess the property & sell it. Kids need to learn to respect &do better when it comes to their parents. One of the reasons why young people are having a difficult time, they are disrespectful & disobedient to their parents.

We need more neighbors who care about the elderly on their streets. I wonder why she’s alone—where are her kids? If they moved away, why didn’t they take their mom with them?

For a country that takes care of every other nation Brit there business or not, but to see it old citizens going through life like this, America look inward and stop interfering into other businesses, take care of ur people.

Sold job my man! I have been helping out the widow across the street for years. I fixed or replaced pretty much everything in her house and I do her snow removal every winter. I never charge her, just being a good neighbor. I think it's important. :-)
