I would have to constantly warn my ex watched where she walked on trails here and brush areas. We also have Black Widows here too! I had them all over my last property in the West Hollywood Hills. I had fruit trees and an Avocado tree. They loved dark areas.

Very first thing you're told to do after a rattle snake bite. Don't panic and raise your heart beat to spread that venom throughout your body. First thing she does? Fucking scream and run full sprint. 🙂‍↔️🫪

It didn't "mistake her as prey," she surprised it. They only rattle if they're aware of you first and you get too close. Don't blindly reach into or under things until you know it's safe to do so. And if you should find one, a shovel works great in a pinch.

Chino Hills. At dusk, I went to my vehicle that was in the driveway. I opening my car door, my foot was unusually heavy. I shifted my leg, thinking to myself, that's strange. I backed up my car & noted a rattlesnake I had run over. A rattlesnake bit the tip of one of my shoes.

Was the perpetrator ever identified and caught?
