@XanderMcGuire7 You can’t be policing run ups, doesn’t matter if it’s to waste time or it’s 30 seconds into the first quarter. Simple fix is either reduce shot clock to start the approach or the shot clock keeps going during approach and play on is called at 30 seconds.

@XanderMcGuire7 A player could run to the other end of the field in 20-25 seconds. They commence their shot at goal by walking the length of the field. Would take an addition 30-45 seconds off the clock.

@XanderMcGuire7 Ben Brown says hi. Crowds have been asking for that rule to be changed for years. Kick it before ,30 seconds or its okay on. And whilst they're at it, if you want your 30 seconds you're not allowed to pass it, handball it or chip it to 10m out. That's an automatic free. IMHO
