We need to have a national conversation on diversity and languages. This can not be normal. Imagine an MP being threatened in parliament for expressing his views. What about an ordinary woman in Plumtree?

But he is right, if they require a Ndebele translation then when she responds in shona someone must translate to Ndebele as well. Its really common courtesy. If parliament operates in all offcial languages then they must translate them all simple!

The discussion should have been in English language, thats the official language, simple. Those learned men and women all can speak and understand the Queen's language.

This is really sad. It’s not easy being Ndebele in Zimbabwe. The government has failed us.

Mr Ndebele, maybe we need to think about a TWO STATE solution. To imagine that it's 4 decades after independence, but our Shona brothers and sisters still behave like this in parliament 😡
