Winnisquam Regional High School in my district recently renovated its CTE Center to add precision machining/welding and expand its small engine shop, and it’s been a great success so far! Would be happy to cosponsor your bill to bring these opportunities to more student!

Hey @Ross_Berry, I know someone who can teach students about being a mechanic.

Well played

Common sense solutions for NH

This is probably the best thing I've seen you do, Ross. Very VERY well done.

Destroy the NEA

Artificial barriers gotta go. Good bill. Extend it

HVAC, new technology and old technicians, younger techs are desperately needed.

Built my first 7hp Kohler engine in a High School engine shop. 👍

I agree.

You need testosterone.

I love this! Thank you Ross

this is brilliant! brilliant! Q: did "shop" disappear from the high school curriculum at about the same time as "student loans" for college came onto the scene?

@mannion4nh Couldn’t agree more. I’ll add one bitter side effect of the trades labor shortage is — I know a ton of retired Auto Technicians that banked so much money (shortage has worked in their favor) - makes it very hard for the schools to entice them to come to work post retirement.

You need a fucking English teacher to tell you it’s incorrect to capitalize high school.

Fantastic idea!

Ross you have a great bill idea. 👍 thank you

This sounds like a great idea! Thank you 🙏

No. We need to end fed ed. Im not paying for shit for a less than acceptable literacy rate

And those shops should also be used, after hours, for adults who pay the property taxes, to also take courses..either for personal preparedness or for a starting point for possible career 2.0

@NHFCR Maybe you should FUND public education , nope, what a FREE STATE hypocrite!

Definitely bring those courses back

S tier.
