🚨Animal Cruelty Arrest🚨 #teamHCSO arrested Imania Davis, 33, on six charges of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals. On April 30, 2026, around 8:20 p.m., Real Time Crime Center cameras observed Davis throwing a dog not once, but twice, forcefully causing it to hit the asphalt. The video also showed Davis kicking the dog. Deputies responded and transported the dog to a veterinarian, where it was treated for a broken leg. The dog is now recovering and receiving care.

On December 7, 2024, Laushaul was taken into custody and will be booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a felony charge of Willful/Malicious Torture, Maiming, or Killing of an Animal. A second suspect, 30-year-old Markeisha Foster, has also been arrested. This case began on July 26, 2024, when an abandoned bulldog named Reba was discovered in a plastic tote behind a business on East Twain Avenue. Reba was in severe medical distress and, despite every effort to save her, she tragically passed away. This exhaustive investigation was a collaborative effort involving LVMPD’s Animal Cruelty Detail, Missing Persons Detail, Homicide Section, Sex Offender Apprehension Team, and the U.S. Marshals Nevada Violent Offender Task Force. 🐾 Abandoned at the Airport… but Not Forgotten We can’t believe we have to say this… but please don’t abandon your dog at the airport — or anywhere else. On February 2, 2026, at approximately 11:39 p.m., LVMPD officers assigned to Harry Reid International Airport responded to Terminal 3 after receiving reports of a dog that had been tied to a metal carry-on baggage sizer and left behind at the JetBlue ticket counter. Airline staff advised the dog’s owner she was required to complete online documentation in order to travel with the animal as a service dog. When the required paperwork was not completed, the passenger was denied a boarding pass. She then left the dog behind and proceeded through the airport to the departure gate. Officers later located the individual at Gate D1. When asked why she abandoned the dog, she stated the airline would not allow her to fly with it and claimed the dog had a tracking device — implying it was acceptable to leave the animal behind and it would return to her. While escorting her back through the security checkpoint, she became hostile and resisted officers’ attempts to detain her. She was arrested and booked for: ▪️ Animal Abandonment ▪️ Resisting Arrest Airport employees and LVMPD Officers immediately stepped in to care for the approximately 2-year-old golden doodle/mini poodle while the owner was processed. Animal Protective Services took custody of the dog. After the mandatory 10-day hold period passed and the owner never returned, Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas stepped in. In February 2004, a citizen made a disturbing discovery in a remote stretch of Nevada desert: human remains that had been encased in concrete and buried in a shallow grave. The remains were later identified as Jamie Sheldon, who had been reported missing nearly two years earlier, in May 2002. More than two decades have passed, but detectives have never identified the person — or people — responsible for Jamie's murder. Time can pass. Memories can fade. But even the smallest detail could be the one investigators need to finally bring answers to Jamie's case. A helpless little dog died. Someone knows who did this.💔 On May 17, 2026, a group of 4 to 5 children were reportedly seen at the Main Street Boat Ramp in Middleburg, Florida with a young chihuahua-mix dog. The children were throwing the dog around in the water, holding it underwater, and physically abusing it. A family was able to rescue the dog at the time, but sadly, the dog died a few days later from injuries related to the incident. The children ran off, and the only description available is that they appeared to be between 9 and 13 years old. Parents, if your children were in the area that day or may know someone who was there, please speak with them. Any information could help identify those responsible. The case number is 2026-011933.
