We now cross to the Lib Dem campaign

Sky News have now interviewed Ed Davey whilst both being on a Slip N Slide

Sunak: having a disastrous campaign Starmer: facing loads of scrutiny Davey: having an absolute blast and living his best life

Yes, it looks like he's on a summer activities camp - but he's getting noticed, which I suspect is the aim of the tactic

Ed Davey's campaign strategy is "vibes"

I love that Ed Davey is just having fun during this campaign.

This is not a campaign, it's an episode of "It's a Knockout."

How's the election chances going Mr Davey?

This is increasingly looking like a sound strategy

Ed Davy is having the most fun this campaign for sure.

If we see him hot air ballooning, swimming with dolphins or in a threesome, you know he’s just ticking off things from his bucket list.

He’s just on a jolly isnt he? I can respect it tbh

Good for the Lib Dems. At least the media are actually covering his events now.

Honestly this guy is a clown and the team that are advising him are either Labour or Tory insiders

I might join the Lib Dem’s. They know they aren’t winning, but they are still having fun 😂

Assistant wanted - may have to go down water slides with the boss on occasion...

It's a better way to highlight young people's mental health than to go into a school and tell the kids they'll all be drafted into the army when they turn 18.

I love the fact that he’s clearly never experienced this before, including riding a bike & is now probably wondering why he spent his life in politics when holiday rep would be the ideal career 😂If he isn’t on the lash tonight shouting down in one at a journalist I will be upset

Who is advising this man?

There’s precisely zero chance of him being the next PM so he’s just splurging member’s cash on a 6 week jolly.

Really hope he loses his own seat

He’s finding his inner child , good on him ! Politics is too serious

Ed Davey is having the time of his life and I’m here for it! Hilarious

He should be in prison for his role in the Post Office scandal not enjoying himself on a water slide. Despicable man.

He seems to be having a great time tho

It's cringeworthy.

Coming next for Ed

“The #LibDems know they won’t win this #GeneralElection so they’ve decided to treat their leader to a great summer holiday.”

Is his election campaign on behalf of the UK tourist board to try and get people to holiday in the UK in the rain?

Ed Davey living his best life this election run Feels very much like a greatest hits/end of the road type campaign

At least they're getting some media coverage now, having been ignored despite have more MPs & local councillors than Reform.

Based on his campaigning so far, can we assume he's on holiday?

Ed Davey's Lib Dem campaign, 2024

He's just having a ball 🤣
