The only problem with the other side of the coin is this. If there is a video which is not an AI faked video capturing something of someone in power or a politician doing something that is illegal or immoral, the government would be able to very quickly force that video to be removed from the Internet completely.

This was unacceptable — it shouldn't take a phone call from a sitting Senator for this filth to get removed. She's the reason we introduced and passed the TAKE IT DOWN Act. My bipartisan bill passed in the Senate unanimously — it needs to be taken up in the House so it can be signed into law.
