We pulled this off in just about two weeks, using a mix of tools like After Effects, TouchDesigner, Cavalry, and Blender. I’ll share the parts I worked on and some bts stuff later.

I can't believe my eyes! I compared Cavalry render speed to After effects and this happened: forget about that Cavalry rendered a complicated Motion graphic piece without a single lag and very minimal Layer usage that would take a ton of work in after effects, but when I RENDERED animation and gave it to After effects It had a problem playing the RENDERED MP4 VIDEO! and during that it used more ram to play a normal video than Cavalry to just play the raw project file with all the layers and effects. this is just crazy. we might be witnessing a new era of motion design.

This is the BTS from the calligraphy exhibition animation I made with a few months ago in Hong Kong. Most of it was done in Cavalry , and a little bit in After Effects. And yes… I’m still that weirdo who keyframes every single shot by hand.
