"We put the [Navigation Doppler Lidar for Precise Velocity and Range Sensing] as a tech demo and as a test, we weren't planning to use it... for the actual mission... but now we are. So, basically, it is the primary system to help provide the velocity and altitude information."...

Do you constantly use fuel when flying to the moon? Or do you reach a certain speed and drift to the moon? I’m asking in case of drag in space...if there is any or not? Or does speed stay constant if not increased or decreased in a vacuum?

I noticed!🎉👍🏾👍 Question #AskNasa now that OD is on the moon, can the instruments onboard be utilised to ascertain the stat of the mission in addition to their nominal tasks? This is not intended to be controversial more a reinforcing principle to efforts already presented🤔
