We really don’t talk enough about when Wedge Antilles discovered and piloted a Jedi Starfighter from Attack of the Clones while on Geonosis decades later in the third Rogue Squadron game.

Wedge after one milisecond of staring at the Jedi Starfighter.

I'm so serious when I say we need remasters of these games so badly.

Think it could’ve been Obi-Wans? We never saw the fate of it after he got caught

The on-foot missions could have been a lot better, but the flying was as superb as ever. Tons of really cool unlockables, too; especially loved that they included the Atari games as bonuses. Movie missions felt kind of shoehorned, but overall this game is way overhated.

While cool, this wouldn't have been possible because the lack of safety measures that non-force sensitives need were never installed in those craft.

I would consider this a clever reference to the fact that Denis Lawson, who played Wedge in the original trilogy, Rise of Skywalker as well as voicing him in "Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader" and "Squadrons", is the maternal uncle of Ewan McGregor.

After reading the rogue squadron Xwing books, I badly need to see more of Wedge, and getting a canonized Corran Horn would be sick

I always figured it was Obi-Wan's and it had simply been just left there because there was a *lot* going on.

One of the coolest things about this game was that we have one of the few rebel to empire traitors happen, never usually see that

Fun way to sneak clone wars content into a Rogue Squadron game!

Used to play this mission on repeat for hours on GameCube

That was a game I was never able to find. Maybe I should try and track it down, and figure out how to stream from a Gamecube...

With perfectly-working Sonic Charges.

Rogue Squadron games were so good. The 3rd game made a co-op mode where you got to play the entire 2nd game in co-op! Loved doing that with my cousin

I loved that level so much, that and the cloud city escape were probably my most played missions... well those and anything that let me use a Y-wing on replay.

This was my favorite level!

Not just any Jedi starfighter…

The Rogue Squadron games have some of the best expanded universe lore.

Yeah don't remind how facepalming the "writing" in that game was, thanks.

Or that he fought battle droids and an LAAT while getting to that starfighter.

And that star fighter was massively overpowered, too!

Such a fun game, even though I lacked the context of the previous ones

God this game fucked

Wedge is just built different

@Brown_Squadron 👀

And it was armed with seismic charges for some reason

It was also loaded with the same seismic charges as slave-er-jango fett’s ship

We need remakes or at least ports

I saw this level as the last ghosts of AOTC.

It also came equipped with THOSE FUCKING THINGS.

Mind you this happened directly after shooting down a LAAT gunship with a turret

Wedge is a character that actually needs a show.

Things I learned today: this!
