I used to own an agency and can say with confidence that it would have been over 50k - not just the landing page. There are thousands of pages 🙂 Everything else is a matter of personal taste, but everyone else seems to love it!

I think both things can be true. - Claude Code is an insane force multiplier for everyone. Use it daily myself. - Webflow/Framer are still great for marketing sites b/c it reduces org friction that tends to show up by week 3.

I’ve been building websites in Webflow for five years. Lately, though, I’ve been gravitating toward fully custom builds using @cursor_ai. The planning, design systems, architecture, and implementation, it’s all absolutely top-notch.

@cursor_ai I would genuinely recommend it - also make sure to try Claude code if you haven’t yet - idk how to explain it but it’s SO good compared to cursor agent IMO

I was using Opus 4.5 in Cursor earlier. Now I’m building my MVP with Claude Code in VS Code and it’s been great so far. Because I work with a developer-first mindset, I need to see the project structure, files, and architecture clearly. That’s why VS Code works better for me. I can’t build entirely through prompts, I need real visibility into the codebase.

@cursor_ai I just have Claude code as my agent and cursor free as my IDE - definitely agreed you gotta know what’s going on!

Only thing I've heard is the product UI is very early 2000s haha. But, good to know! Two immediate thoughts: 1. It does my head in that a Webflow tool maker doesn't have a Webflow website now 😝 2. From my POV this also makes sense as the Memberstack team is probably more technical vs marketing and needing to be in Webflow

It's almost boring, but in a good way - super happy with sanity so far, I feel like the pricing is a bit steep for what it is but maybe we can self host at a later date. We love using the tools we support, including Webflow - but, Memberstack works with everything, not just Webflow! The majority of our customers use Webflow, and it continues to be our primary focus as a product... but as things change in the overall builder space, we are focusing more and more on supporting people who vibe code web apps as well as Webflow developers. One thing I will say is that this change was actually driven originally from myself and @mollyfloyd24 - I'm quasi-technical, and Molly's marketing focused - but everyone on the team including of course the technical team embraced the change :D

And this makes sense! With how fast things are moving with Claude Code and Cursor and so many other AI tools the Memberstack product ain't just great for Webflow anymore. It's a Clerk or even Better Auth competitor. Riiiight? I still think 80% of marketing teams would benefit more from Webflow. But I'm speaking as a Webflow dev where I see the benefits of Build Mode, CMS, Components, and built-in hosting. The Claude Code + Sanity way feels more like the way of things vs Webflow is more aligned with My prediction: Soon there will probably be a tool that allows you to use Cursor and the Figma MCP and have it be all converted into Webflow and componentized.

Considering rebuilding some old projects like this. What used to need teams of 10+ is now me in a weekend.

Not quite - I think they still have time to make the right moves 💪 but they have to allow people to use SOTA tools with Webflow. Webflow’s own agent will never be able to compete with Claude Code for example. Can’t connect MCPs to it either. I think they are aware of what’s happening, and I hope they choose the smart path - I love Webflow and am rooting for them, but I’m gonna use whatever works best for me and my team.

@mq_p I have!! It's on YouTube I think the MCP server is an incredible start and is definitely headed in the right direction, but it still has a long way to come. I'll keep playing around with it and hope to use it in more projects as it gets better!! 💪

Honestly, everything was easier than I possibly could have imagined - if I had to say one thing, it would probably be the animations - not Claude's fault, but it's genuinely hard to describe exactly what you want to happen. sve je moguće ako možeš da ga izmisliš :D
