During a meeting with the leaders of two Bundestag coalition factions, Jens Spahn and Matthias Miersch, we discussed financial and defense support for Ukraine, as well as the next steps in diplomacy. Now, let’s go to the last destination. ELEYELE LAKE. We drove through the link gate between UI and Ibadan Poly to link Eleyele Road and in to time, we got to the lake manned by Royal Entertainment Cruise where one can do Boal Pedaling, canoe paddling or boat cruise. We went for boat pedaling. Just myself and my wife in a boat pedaling ourselves on the lake. We pedaled into the deep and also came back ourselves. It was fun fun fun. The owner of spot seeing our show of excellence on the water asked us to join his team on a boat cruise to Eleyele Dam. A wonderful journey for me except for one woman who was scared throughout beside me. I nearly changed it for her only to realize she’s still my wife. We got back to shore, had little refreshments and bid Ibadan farewell. Rating - 7/10

It is important that the Mark Rutte is with us in Ukraine at such a brutal moment of this war, when the Russians have once again disregarded the efforts of the American side. Today, Russia carried out a record strike in terms of the use of ballistic missiles. There were 28 cruise missiles, as well as 43 missiles of various types that approach their targets along a ballistic trajectory and can be intercepted only by Patriot systems. E11 Bio is excited to unveil PRISM technology for mapping brain wiring with simple light microscopes. Today, brain mapping in humans and other mammals is bottlenecked by accurate neuron tracing. PRISM uses molecular ID codes and AI to help neurons trace themselves. We discovered a new cell barcoding approach exceeding comparable methods by more than 750x. This is the heart of PRISM. We integrated this capability with microscopy and AI image analysis to automatically trace neurons at high resolution and annotate them with molecular features. This is a key advance towards economically viable brain mapping - 95% of costs stem from neuron tracing. It is also an important step towards democratizing neuron tracing for everyday neuroscience. Solving these problems is critical for curing brain disorders, building safer and human-like AI, and even simulating brain function. In our first pilot study, we acquired a unique dataset in mouse hippocampus. Barcodes improved the accuracy of tracing genetically labelled neurons by 8x – with a clear path to 100x or more. They also permit tracing across spatial gaps – essential for mitigating tissue section loss in whole-brain scaling. Using molecular annotation, we uncover an intriguing feature of synaptic organization, demonstrating how PRISM can be used for systematic discovery 🧵

One of THE MOST impactful changes we can make to urban roads in India is to maintain consistent road widths from one intersection to the next. Our current, variable road widths disrupt the orderly flow of traffic. For example, if there's just a bit of extra space on the side, auto-rickshaws attempt to squeeze in, causing chaos. If a road suddenly narrows from three lanes to two and a half, congestion follows. In cities like London, when extra right-of-way is found, the footpaths are widened up to the road. But in Mumbai, we tend to expand the road instead. The issue with this approach is that the number of private vehicles in a densely populated city like Mumbai can grow without limits. Expanding roads only encourages more vehicles. On the other hand, widening footpaths doesn't cause the same problem because the space required for pedestrians is limited—walking is highly space-efficient. #WalkingProject
