The Serbian community has deep roots in this city since its earliest days. Chicagoland is home to the largest Serbian community outside of Serbia and the Balkans. We are a huge, longstanding, and proud community in this city and we will not accept being disregarded or insulted. Without any consultation with our community, a decision was made to raise the flag of the terrorist and criminal “Republic of Kosovo” at Daley Plaza. This is an occupied territory that remains deeply painful for the Serbian people as this land is the centerpiece of our religion, culture and identity. For our community, this act is not symbolic or fun, it is a political statement that directly insults us. This action is unacceptable. If this terrorist flag of so called Republic of Kosovo is raised again in our city without dialogue or consideration of our community, you should expect a highly visible public protest at levels you’ve never seen before. We demand that this issue be addressed immediately. Engage with our community. Show respect for the people who have built this city. Do not repeat this mistake. Do not think to insult us like this ever again.

It's clear that agents need an ACTUAL operating system (not what people are calling an "OS") to witness the full breadth and depth of their capabilities while mitigating the blast radius of autonomous, untrusted actors. But there are so many problems with AI sandboxes today: * Going out to the apple store and buying a mac mini will never scale and is way too expensive (obviously) * Running in Docker is too restrictive (agents can't stand up their own container infrastructure, no sub virtualization, docker-in-docker is very broken) * Firecracker strips all the hardware so GPU PCIe passthrough, secure boot, FIPs, etc. is out of the question. * Native VMs are too fat and the overhead of 1 agent per VM is too much. stereOS takes a different approach: it's a full NixOS system that you boot and then kick off agent sandboxes inside with gVisor + /nix/store namespace mounting. Each agent gets their own kernel and the /nix/store is read only by nature. Even if the agent was somehow able to escape the gVisor virtual kernel, they'd land on the NixOS system as the "agent" user! Not your actual hardware!! If you want to take a defense-in-depth approach, we support "native" agents that run at the system level kicked off by our `agentd` utility. These agents, on their own, can manage and kick off other sub agents using the internal sandboxing mechanisms. APPRECIATION POST ✨ Would love to take a moment to Thank and show Appreciation to everyone who came to support our beloved Lingling Kwong with the most loudest cheers 🗣️ First and foremost (I) Admin Sha was planning on taking a break . Diagnosed with a Heart Complication that forced me to get hospitalized and limited my ability to move in a daily basis hence decided to take a break & try comeback more active next year. But that plan got postponed with the news saying P’Ling was coming I jumped out of my bed out of excitement & happiness and jumped straight to planning all the things we had to do for the visit. To be able to represent our fans here in Malaysia was a big honor yet a big responsibility we had to take on. Despite all the challenges our team have been through we made it this far with only 3 Admins pushing through all the hardwork to make this event memorable for both P’Ling and the fans. A big shoutout to the Golden Angels Family & JKR Family for contributing and making the event more memorable for all of us. Our volunteers the ‘Crew Team’ who sacrificed their jobs to come help us admins and helped with every small and big tasks that needed to be done with precision and made the event run smoothly.
