@ICtrlUFranLol I don’t eat meat, however, when I prepare it for others, it is always marinaded overnight with an acid based marinade: sometimes lemon or lime juice, other times cider vinegar 🤷🏽‍♀️

@ICtrlUFranLol In fairness, at least for me, when people talked about washing chicken I thought people were literally washing their chicken with water - which some people do. I learned from @VivaciousNYC on Drag Race that in the Caribbean 'washing' chicken is essentially marinating.
