Hurricane Helene Update: From The Bucket. Our crews are continuing to work through the first day of restoration following the devastating effects of #Helene. We are continuing to bring more resources from outside of our system and currently have 14,000+ personnel engaged in response - more than many other major hurricanes. So far, we have managed to restore over 250,000 customers, and are continuing to work across the state navigating flooded/closed roads and the conditions. There are updated estimated restoration times available on our outage map for multiple communities across Georgia. Additional evaluation is occurring as areas are accessible across southern, coastal and eastern Georgia, where communities experienced hurricane force winds leading to extensive damage.
