Stephen A. alleged that I called his pastor, trying to get him to talk about Stephen A.’s personal life. That’s an outright lie. The publicist for Promise Keepers, the Christian men’s ministry, reached out to our producer trying to pitch an appearance from Stephen A.’s pastor on my show. I questioned why he would want to come on my show. They later backed away. I doubt the publicist realized what was going on.

“Kids don’t realize that their parents are growing up too” Olympic Fencer Miles Chamley-Watson didn’t grow up with a relationship with his biological father. So, when his father reached out to then 20 year old he was dismissive. After collecting his thoughts he decided to call his father, and ask to meet up. I love James Harrison He’s my brother, but I disagree with the way he’s spoken about Mike Tomlin. After Mike T stepped away from coaching James said he wasn’t a Hall of Famer because he has no coaching tree. First off Mike T is a Hall of Famer, but there’s validity to James’ statement on his coaching tree. He’s chosen older more established Coordinators. Andrew’s words didn’t feel like a joke to me, & he felt my response painted him as ignorant… “Ignorant” is something he won’t accept. He knows black women are capable of immense beauty, & he didn’t want to be positioned as someone who was unaware of that. I wasn’t concerned with positioning him as anything. My focus was on what black women have done & been for me. I wasn’t refuting his joke. I was sharing the positive impact Black women have had on so many without concern of who felt a way about it. You can only negotiate based on what you’ve built. 2 examples of that are Stephen A Smith & Pat McAfee. SAS can say I put this whole thing on my back, & you gotta come see me. Pat retired to build what he has now, and is unapologetic about it! You have to respect that. I’m motivated by that. In negotiations I knew I wasn’t them, but I am me. So, I went about it my way with the help of David Mulugheta, because I kept score every time I walked on set. I felt like I had to kill every second of every show just to get what I deserve.
