How come 80 plus years ago Britain managed to keep 400,000 German/Italian POWs securely and safely locked up away from society? Use the military to oversee them. We get your excitement over AI gadgets but you need to get in the real world of logic and solutions.

God, this is irritating. You are wildly incompetent, Darren. FDEs are management consulting roles in which they tie companies and institutions into long-term support. Yes, an LLM-supported engineer can build very quickly and very niche tooling, but that tooling needs to be maintained and patched like traditional engineering. However, conventional software engineering is typically one product, not 1000 micro-niche ones.
