Satellite imagery suggests China has deployed 11 J-20 stealth fighter jets at Hotan and Damxung airbases, both located close to India's northern border. The J-20 is China's fifth-generation stealth fighter, designed to reduce radar detection and carry weapons internally. While this deployment reflects China's growing ability to routinely operate advanced fighters near the border, it does not by itself indicate that a conflict is imminent. India continues to maintain a strong air combat capability with Rafale, Su-30MKI, Tejas, and other fighter aircraft, while the indigenous AMCA stealth fighter remains under development.
