The magnificent sight of St. George's 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 fluttering across the land is a tangible sign that the English have had enough When the Scots & Welsh fly their flags, it's called "progressive nationalism". When the English do, it's "racist" That era is over For decades, the English have suffered silently as their identity was traduced and undermined whilst other identities were celebrated. I will never forget Ken Livingstone, sometime Mayor of England’s capital city, funding a St. Patrick’s Day parade but refusing funding for a St. George’s Day parade on the grounds it was divisive and xenophobic More recently we’ve seen children wearing British or English flags sent home from school whilst other children were encouraged to celebrate their heritage. And we’ve seen Palestinian and Pakistani flags flown from lamposts for months, with councils doing nothing to remove them. -- Contrast that with the speed with which they've tried to remove the national flag of England. All this sticks in the craw because it offends that most sacred of English values: fair play. It’s just not cricket. Historically, the English wore their patriotism lightly. They knew they had "won first prize in the lottery of life" and thus had no need for overt displays of nationalism. But no more. Labour Councillor Darragh Moriarty is stepping on dangerous territory by demanding that Dublin City Council stamp out the right of Irish people to raise our own national flag. The fact that he is calling for Tricolours to be removed that have been "put up with hateful intent" is a direct attack on our right to freely express our national identity by flying our national flag. Where is the evidence that the flags were put up with "hateful intent*?. Does Councillor Moriarty consider himself to be part of the Thought Police?. Does he believe that raising our national flag should be classified a "hate crime"?. This appears to be where he is going and unless we push back we could soon witness the banning of our national flag in public places. Councillor Moriarty appears to think that raising our national flag is "borrowed" from English nationalism. How did he reach this patronising anti-Irish conclusion?. The same Labour who only last year publicly announced that they were "proud" to see the Palestinian flag raised in Leinster House. What we are witnessing is a full-frontal attack on anything Irish. Dublin City Council need to be reminded that the Irish people have a right to raise our national flag and that any attack on our freedom of expression and national identity will be contested. The locals of Coolock, Ballyfermot, Finglas and the north and south inner city have NOT contravened any law in raising our national flag in their communities. The only thing Dublin City Council can come up with is that they did not get written permission from the Public Lighting Services before they erected the flags. We have no doubt that many flags have been erected throughout Dublin city without obtaining such written person from the Public Lighting Services in advance, without issue. What we are watching in Ireland is the acceleration of the regime's anti-Irish agenda, whereby any expression of our national identity is being vilified and condemned as "far,-right" by the same left liberals who want to destroy our country.

That's because less than 3 percent of people in Sparkhill are white British, and over 80 percent are Muslim. It is a colony that does not identify with our flag or our country. They are British only by paperwork. You should not be allowed to fly foreign flags in public places or from government buildings. We shouldn't be affected by Israel's war with Hamas. I'm sick of hearing about it. Move to Pakistan or Palestine, if you care so much. As for third-worldist leftists protesting as part of Palestine Action: I don't care about the free speech of people who support a genocidal Jihadist group that would turn my country into a caliphate if it could. Those who exploit Britain's lenient liberties to advance the cause of communism or Islam don't care about our traditions — and so should not be protected by them.
