We should stop calling raw milk, RAW milk, and should start just calling it what it really is…milk. And instead, we should call the milk at the store what it really is…PASTEURIZED milk. Then the conversations can go: “Wait, you drink PASTEURIZED milk? Don’t you know that heating it... destroys necessary enzymes for vitamin and mineral absorption, so your body is confused on what to do with it?? Louis Pasteur was a moron, the problem wasn't the milk, the problem was trying to feed dairy cow in cities absolute slop for food with no fresh grass or hay. Pasteurizing good milk is foolish, and pasteurizing bad milk and calling it safe is criminal.

Any cultured foods also have a lot of "bacteria" in them. They are necessary to keep our microbiome in good shape. Your video just reminded me, I need to down some goat milk kefir!!

!!! Goat milk kefir! A dream! Last summer I left some on the counter when the house was warm and it just naturally went to kefir, I was so thrilled. Previously, I had always done the grains and start with pasteurized then transition to raw and it takes a minute. You know what I’ll be doing this summer when it warms up!!

I switched to goat milk (unpasteurised) after my doe finished nursing her kids. Interestingly, my hayfever has stopped. Usually I’m suffering with itchy eyes and a streaming nose for months over Spring and Summer.
