Watch this crazy exchange as an entitled woman in Washington State demands a sheriff’s deputy leave a school area, claiming his presence is “scaring” everyone. Woman: What are you doing? Why are you here? Deputy Domeno: I was just doing a collision report, ma’am. Woman: Okay. Are you guys going to be here much longer? Deputy Domeno: Until I’m done doing my job. Woman: One of the teachers said you’ve been circling since about 8. Deputy Domeno: I wasn’t here at 8. This was a collision report at the elementary school. Deputy Domeno: Okay. Have a good day. I’m going to continue to do my job. Woman: You’re scaring these families. Go do your job where your job is. I don’t see why it needs to be here all morning. Deputy Domeno: Let me explain. The person I was working with left about 5 minutes ago. This was a collision report. I’m finishing up and giving them their information. Woman: Can you acknowledge that your presence might be upsetting right now? Deputy Domeno: Ma’am, I’m just doing my job. I understand. Woman: If we’re going to collaborate with you going forward, you have to show some humanity. Show that you understand the circumstances and how this feels. It would help if it felt like you were here for us. Until that’s clear, I don’t think you should be lingering here. Deputy Domeno: With all due respect, I’m not going back and forth. I’ll finish as fast as I can. Woman: Keep in mind you’re in front of a school. Deputy Domeno: The quicker this is done, the quicker you can leave. Woman: Please think about these kids and moms. Deputy Domeno: I understand what moms are going through. Let me finish and I’ll be out of everyone’s way.

Daradaily interviewed FayMay #FAYMAYentertainment #fay_riezz #maywyda F: Right now we’ve also started our own company together called FAYMAY Entertainment. Actually, I think we both grew a lot while we were with IDF, and we reached a point where we had grown as much as we could there. So we felt that maybe it would be better to continue on our own together. M: We wanted to try doing something new as FayMay, but in another version of us, one that has grown up. F: Honestly, it’s something very new for us. We have to take care of every system ourselves, and almost 100% of the decisions have to be made by FayMay. But the good thing is that we can decide everything fully. If there’s something we want to do, we can do it. If we come up with an idea and want to make it happen, we can just go ahead and do it. M: Exactly, right? F: It’s like another level. I didn’t think it would happen this fast, but I feel like we’ve learned so many things. M: Yes. You could say that every problem that comes our way becomes something that helps us grow. F: She once told me, “We can go anywhere, as long as we go together.” We understand the situation in many ways, and it made us feel that we still want to stay together, it’s better to keep going together. M: Yes. If you ask whether we could separate, maybe other people could. But for us, we feel that going together, holding hands and moving forward together, might be better… stronger. F: It’s like when something feels right, we don’t want to change it. We don’t want to change it. M: Fay does every role. F: May will be the biggest boss. M: No, no, no. 🤣 F: May will be the final decision maker. If May says no, then it’s no. If May says yes, then it’s yes. I’ll let you be the big boss. M: Let’s say we decide together. But I’ll still be a little… if something feels like it could still be better, or not quite better yet, then yeah… F: But we actually tend to think alike. Most of the time, whether it’s work or anything, we’ll come talk to each other like, “What do you think?” We’ve never even argued. It’s very good. M: Yes. You could say that right now we’ve been given opportunities by many clients who saw us and felt fond of us, so we’re very grateful. F: Honestly, when we first started out, we were very worried about whether we could do it. But… well, we could do it. F: It’s getting better. But like I said, there are new things we never expected coming up every day. So we just keep adjusting. (FayMay talk about work in Shanghai and say they will keep going abroad more and more, waiting for announcements from the company. They also talk about a series that is currently being discussed and is in the process stage. When something becomes clear, they will definitely come out and tell everyone.)

Jillian Michaels tells a body positive activist that Big Food is literally buying off dietitian influencers to say “ditch the diet” and eat whatever you want. What happens next is a textbook example of Stockholm syndrome: MICHAELS: “Can I give you some statistics?” ACTIVIST: “Please, please, please.” MICHAELS: “Okay. So Washington Post analyzed more than 6,000 social media posts by 68 registered dietitians with a combined reach of over 9 million followers. 40% of them were using the anti-diet language. Like food freedom, no food rules, ditch the diet, healthy at any size, so on and so forth, very often not disclosing the fact that they were paid by the big food companies.” ACTIVIST: “Okay.” MICHAELS: “So they’re basically going after the intuitive eating dietitians. I can give you Abby Sharp.” ACTIVIST: “That’s okay, though… The body positive movement is really for us. That is not even anywhere we need to equate into it.” MICHAELS: “It really is when they’re using your movement.” ACTIVIST: “I’m going to say this clearly… I don’t care who uses my f*cking movement. I want the movement to be there, and that right there, they can take it. It’s marketing and sales 101. Of course they’re going to use the f*cking movement.” MICHAELS: “But then why can’t you guys say you don’t get to co-opt our movement?” ACTIVIST: “That’s not for me to do. I don’t care about that. The thing is, we don’t care.” MICHAELS: “I think you should.” ACTIVIST: “But it’s not about we should. We are doing what we’re doing because this is our family, this is our world. It doesn’t matter…. The thing is, WE DON’T CARE.” Michaels just explained how Big Food buys off influencers to keep people fat. And she still thinks Michaels is the enemy.

The mother of Will Roberts, the Alabama boy fighting cancer, is asking everyone for prayers, says they are trying to keep Will comfortable. Please pray for this family. Read Brittney Battles Roberts' post from Facebook below: "The biggest thing Will needs right now is a more aggressive approach. He has so much fluid that has to come off, but at the same time they have to balance his blood counts and platelets so it can be done safely. Now pneumonia has also set up in his lungs, and that’s another battle we have to fight. We’re not giving up. Months ago, Will looked at us and said, “God is going to take me to the edge and make believers out of us.” Yesterday he looked at Jason and said, “Don’t give up on me, Dad.” Those words matter. Today Will became more agitated and wasn’t resting well. One option was to continue increasing his sedation. We understand why. Nobody wants him uncomfortable. But as his parents, we also know that when you’re sleeping more, not moving, and already dealing with fluid and weak lungs, pneumonia doesn’t just sit there. It gets worse. Tonight, after he developed severe wheezing, we asked for an ICU doctor to come assess him. He sat down with us, listened to everything, and explained that they could be more aggressive with removing fluid, treating the pneumonia, and still keep Will comfortable and safe. That’s what we needed to hear. People ask us all the time what we’re praying for. We’re not praying for more time at any cost. We’ve already told the doctors that if God says it’s time, then it’s time. We are at peace with that. But we are also not willing to sit back and let something treatable take over without asking if there is more that can be done. If fluid can come off, we want it off. If pneumonia can be treated, we want it treated. If there’s a chance to make him more comfortable while still fighting what can be fought, that’s what we want. We’re okay with death if it comes while we’re trying. Advocating at this level is new territory for us. We’ve never had to make decisions like this before. Every choice feels heavy, and we question ourselves constantly. But one thing we know is this… Will asked us not to give up on him so that’s exactly what we’re going to do. Please keep praying. Pray for wisdom. Pray for the ICU team. Pray they can safely remove this fluid, get this pneumonia under control, and keep Will comfortable through it all. And pray that Jason and I continue to have the strength to make the right decisions for our son."

David Friedberg on the Nonprofit Scam: 90% Are Bullsh*t “ The definition of exempt activities is charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literacy, public safety, or fostering amateur sports competition, or preventing cruelty to children or animals. You tell me how the f**k 90% of what we call nonprofits today fall under that definition. We have completely f**king closed our eyes to the fact that organizations, regardless of political affiliation or social interest, have fundamental commercial and probably not aligned interests with the definition of a 501(c)(3), and we've allowed them all to get away with it for far too long. I don't think that this is a blue or red thing. I think that this is a thing where we let these organizations make it easy to get money, to hide the money, and to do whatever the hell they want with the money, and we need to stop it. And I think that it's an amazing opportunity right now for everyone to kind of reset the decks by cleaning all the sh*t up, and getting all of these organizations flushed, and make sure that any organization that wants to do whatever bullsh*t, nefarious things they want to do, by all means do it. But it's not a nonprofit and you shouldn't get a charitable donation deduction, and the government should not be putting money into these sorts of things. This is an entirely different sort of activity in the social order. And as a libertarian, I'm all for it, but I don't think that they should be tax exempt, and I don't think they should be getting government money, and I don't think that individuals should be benefiting from giving them money. And if we could fix all that shit up, I think a lot of these problems are going to go away.”

[🫧] 260308 Hongjoong - ‘👋’, TOKTOQ pop live from Sydney, p.2: 🐿 About doing the morning broadcast with Seonghwa? (morning shows in Australia) Right, so it ended up being the two of us doing it together, and honestly speaking about studying English? I’m not really studying it super deeply and consistently, but whenever I have time I try to do it in various ways. I also practice conversation with a teacher and things like that. Actually, it feels different from that and from listening to the anchors during a live broadcast. Listening to announcers speak is different, so rather than being nervous, I actually went into it in a state of intense focus. So that’s how I approached it. 🐿️ Actually, Seonghwa is also usually really good at English, but since normally the two of us, as the eldest representatives, were the ones going out there, things that came to mind might suddenly not come to mind in that moment. When that happens, honestly it’s the same for both me and Seonghwa. Before going in we practiced quite a lot. For this question - how should I call it? - we prepared expected questions, like predicted questions, and went in with those prepared. Some things came out within the range of those expected questions, and there were also modified ones, so I just handled those kind of freestyle. Seonghwa also prepared a lot. 🐿 Actually, this is how I see it. Since English isn’t our native language either, we can be inexperienced, but what I want is to show that we’re gradually improving, even if it’s just little by little. And honestly, even if we can’t do it one hundred percent, as long as the meaning is conveyed, people understand it. Before, I used to think that while having confidence was important, I also had a strong desire to not make mistakes and to deliver everything perfectly. But now I think it’s better not to hold back and just speak, though I try to be careful about situations where it could be mistranslated. So that’s how it is with English for me. I think it’s kind of like this: even if you’ve been promoting for a long time, when you use Korean, then Japanese, then English, sometimes it feels like your skill level resets. I plan to keep working at it consistently. That’s something I want to keep putting effort into. Yes, that’s how it is.
