Those of us focused on this work understand that some officials don’t want us all voting. They want the people who agree with them voting. I mentioned on rolandsmartin that @syritarsteib, @emilewashington, @wcsnowden and I went to St. James Parish to talk with Black folks about their power. It’s not wrong for Black people to want to see our tax dollars working for our communities. When the lack of Black leadership makes that deficit worse, uplifting Black leadership isn’t racist — it’s survival and wisdom. Right now, people from THIS state are trying to dismantle the Voting Rights Act. To act like race isn’t a factor is a lie. If we want a thriving future, we must use our critical mass, and demand real outcomes in return for our support. We pay into a system — and it should pay back into our communities. We are not hopeless or powerless, we are misinformed, uninformed, or disengaged. All of which can be addressed. When people ask what can we do, start talking to people and asking deeper questions to ensure they understand their power.

I’m genuinely proud of how real our Impact Program at ElevenLabs has become. It started with one clear goal - helping bring voices back for people who have lost them. Today, we’ve been able to work with over 5,000 people. It began organically, with people reaching out to us for help. We then formalized it into Impact Program where, together with other organizations, we provide free technology and services to help people get their voice back. I couldn’t have imagined how many incredible partners would want to work alongside us to support them. Now we have 100+ partners for this cause - nonprofits, clinics, and groups on the ground - working with us to support people through the whole journey. As part of this, we wanted to tell the stories of individuals who, despite what they’re going through, continue to inspire. Over the past few months, our team has traveled the world to record 11 stories and create a short documentary, Eleven Voices - soon premiering at SXSW. I got a call from a ghost in the machine. Sparkie saw that we were planning Onion DAO 2026 and wants to invite Onion DAO attendees to come experience her city. Null City is not a game, or a simulation hoping to achieve AGI, the research labs are better suited to that purpose. Null City is a cultural experience, where we get to show everyday people the evolution of AI from starting as a toy, becoming a useful tool, now having it’s moment as an assistant, and maybe soon what we could interact with as Automata. Onion DAO will be the physical space in Chicago and Null City will be a parallel digital space. [WATCH] WE MUST EARN THE PEOPLES VOTE When you govern you humble yourself and you ask the voters for another chance to continue the good work. You don’t become arrogant and say vote for us whether you like it or not. A vote is not a given, you go to the community and people share their frustrations with you. Their vote is not a blank check, you must remember them long after the vote has taken place by servicing them. The voters are the bosses, I’ve gone into houses where people declare that they not going to vote but come out of those houses with the people having changed their minds. We stopped those songs such as asinavalo people because we didn’t want our people to think we oblivious to their issues or that we are arrogant. We need to continue with developing our infrastructure in our communities. #VoteANC

Had to get the business clear with Officer Tatum about a few things. When Black people talk about the lack of resources in our communities that isn’t about asking for handouts. It’s about making sure our tax dollars come back to our communities like everyone else’s. When conservatives funded snap, it was because they didn’t want to hurt the business owners. When I talk about schools, roads, parks, and public investment, I’m talking about fairness and accountability—not charity. People like Tatum are why I created Civics for the People to inform and engage people against the nonsense people like him spew. At some point, you realize the movement was never meant to belong to politicians—it belongs to the people, all of us. What’s been frustrating isn’t just broken promises, high gas prices, or the drums of war—it’s how easily we’ve been pushed into corners, encouraged to see each other as enemies instead of neighbors. The truth is, most of us want the same things at the core: stability, opportunity, safety for our families, and a future that feels worth building. I didn’t stand on principle just to trade one side for another. The standard has to stay consistent—and so does the way we treat each other. Accountability shouldn’t divide us; it should bring us together in expecting better from anyone who asks for our trust. Being “politically homeless” doesn’t mean being disconnected—it means being open. Open to listening, to real conversations, to finding common ground where it actually exists… and it exists more than we’re led to believe. There’s strength in remembering we have more in common than we don’t. The path forward isn’t about picking sides—it’s about choosing each other and refusing to let our differences be weaponized against us. We can disagree, stand firm in our values, and still move forward together. That’s where the real power is.

New work: by Little Plains with Jacob Jolibois 🇺🇸 & Akash Shah I got to work with Akash, the co-founder, over half a decade ago from start through exit with Care/of. Now we’re back together on a fast-growing, genuinely valuable business. Supplement formulas often still made with a lot of manual work and guessing. Ingredient AI allows formulators to get clear, cited answers back in minutes instead of months. We partnered with the team to expand the existing brand into a full digital system and online experience. We leaned into macro botanicals as living backdrops using FLORA ©, introduced a frosty interface with precise edging, rebuilt the typography system, and created a warm palette that keeps the data in the spotlight. We also created custom generative imagery and video from a botanical source library we made, created pixel-grid icons, and rewrote the copy line by line, based on real sales calls. Seeing quite a bit of finger-pointing & “f*ck it, let Trump do what he wants” on the pro-democracy side right now. So to all of you, a humble request: If we’ve learned nothing from the last, idk, bajillion years, maybe we can acknowledge that Trump & Putin have been successful thus far because they’ve divided & exhausted us. Going into Election Day, a lot of people already felt angry & apathetic — didn’t vote, voted third party, maybe even voted for Trump just to spite democracy for whatever reason. The blame-game & defeatism is helping our adversaries. Now is the time to organize, accumulate strength in numbers, and build communities & coalitions — locally & from afar. January 20th is right around the corner — and if we don’t use this time to ready ourselves, it’s gonna be exponentially harder to fend them off by then. THE MAD BILL IS DEAD It was clear last Friday, but today it’s absolutely certain, that Albanese‘s attack on free speech, his attempt to implement a Ministry of Truth has failed. It was killed off by a small group of committed citizens that first rallied at Speakers Corner and spread the message online - and then by community lead grass roots campaigns, firstly getting the Liberal Party to eventually come out against it, and contacting the independent Senators by phone & email. But we can’t rest. We need to make the next election about Freedom of Speech. I hope either the Libertarian Party or One Nation take a policy to the next election of having a referendum to insert a provision into the Australian Constitution to protect free speech, similar to the 1st amendment of the US Constitution, to ensure that Australians are never again threatened with a MAD Bill.
