@mayatmiller @propublica Sis used to work for an ins. co. contracted by medicare. They were told to deny EVERY podiatrist claim one month, no question. They pulled shady stuff all the time. She turned them into the fbi, w/ receipts, then quit.

@mayatmiller @propublica Virtually all healthcare fraud laws say that it is fraud to knowingly provide false information to obtain OR deny benefits. When benefits are improperly denied, why are the denying parties not prosecuted for fraud? 💵

@mayatmiller @propublica This is the way. Nothing we do w the ACA or any other form of universal healthcare will matter until 1) we wrangle in these monstrous greed machines and 2) make it unfortunate for GOP states to withhold healthcare from its citizens. Yes, I do see the overlap between the two.
