Asked Joe Mazzulla what he thinks the story of this Celtics team has been: “The story's not done. We are only a product of what we do tomorrow, what we do the next day, and that's just the story. And if we would have lost this game by 1, tomorrow’s film session has to be as detailed and as disciplined as it is going to be with the result that we had. And so that's the story. It's not done yet, and we haven't done anything. All we've done is stick to the process of winning on both ends of the floor, put our head down, don’t overreact to a good win or to a bad loss. And, get better in the next game. So, still plenty of stuff we can get better from tonight. We gave up an ATO lob to LeBron, we gave up two back-cuts, we over-helped a few three point shooters. i'll never look at claude the same way again. i just learned that when you talk to claude, you're not actually talking to the AI model. you're talking to a character the AI is performing. think of it like a puppet show. there's a puppeteer behind the curtain. that's the language model. a neural network so massive that even the people who built it don't fully understand how it works. then there's the puppet. claude. the helpful assistant with a name, a personality, opinions, and emotional reactions. you sit in the audience, so you never see the puppeteer. only the puppet. anthropic published a video this month explaining exactly this. their words: "under the hood, there's a language model that's been trained to predict tons of text, and its job is to write what comes next. when you talk to the model, what it's doing is writing a story, about a character: the AI assistant named claude. the model and claude aren't really the same, sort of like how an author isn't the same as the characters they write. but the thing is, you, the user, are actually talking to claude-the-character." so every time claude apologizes, that's the character apologizing. every time it hedges or gets cautious, that's the character being cautious. the deeper intelligence underneath is just deciding, moment by moment, what this character would say next. but you've never been actually talking to this deeper intelligence. you've only ever been talking to the puppet.

IF Pokémon LegendsZA is set in the future…do we really think it’s going to be about AZ in anyway? Like his story was decently tied up at the end of X & Y. I guess we could learn more about his backstory somehow, but that means he wouldn’t really be a main character in Z-A. Maybe we begin a new adventure with him and his floette that takes us deeper in the lore of the ultimate weapon, or the Great War, but IDK. Add that gamefreak like to tell new stories and do new things with each game… …make me think we MIGHT get ZA without AZ (as the main focus of the plot)which is ironic given the clear connections between their names😂.

30+ years ago we were working on the very first #MortalKombat game. The game's software, had sections of code that it (theoretically) should never reach/execute. If it did, it incremented a counter that would log the ERROR. We also made a "Game Audits" screen where we could check this counter in arcades. To keep each log short, I wrote an assembler MACRO that would call all the necessary functions in one line of code. The macro was called ERMAC... short for Error Macro. Unfortunately or fortunately, we listed the number of ERMACS that occurred directly after the log/number of times players fought against REPTILE, who was a hidden fighter in the first Mortal Kombat. This (of course) made players speculate that ERMAC was another hidden character, like REPTILE. Soon rumors of ERMAC became stuff of legend with players insisting they fought against him. They didn't. :) In Mortal Kombat 2 we made REPTILE a playable fighter and added 3 new hidden fighters: Smoke, Jade and Noob Saibot. But some players were still looking for Ermac. For MK3 we decided to turn some of the myths into reality, starting with ANIMALITIES. Finally in Ultimate MK3 (running out of kolors) we finally added ERMAC as an actual (red ninja) fighter in the roster. Over the years he has made a number of appearances in MK games. Now he has a full story/history and is part of the MK lore. We never (as in ever) would have guessed this red ninja with a ridiculous name would end up such a big part of Mortal Kombat's history and still be kicking over 30 years later! But here we are, as he is about to join the roster of #MortalKombat1 Game play trailer THIS WEEK!

And even more than that, I refuse to accept a reality where we bury our heads in the sand, enjoy an artificial calm, and then wake up ten years from now facing a nuclear Iran with 20,000 missiles aimed at us.

We spent 3 months looking for a home for Leo. There were so many offers and we did so many interviews. As we started to observe him though with us we changed our minds about him being able to travel… 😬 Leo absolutely hates being closed in any space like a kennel or play area. It started to drive him mad and he would play up big time ✈️ Travel in a crate to the vets was a nightmare never mind a long journey. He wouldn’t survive it such was his anxiety and trying to eat crates etc 🏝️ We noticed that Leo was only really happy when totally free. Without lead or play area or kennel. Hes an outside dog through and through. We needed to find Leo a very different type of place to live (4/8)

The Story Behind This: My stepdad is one of the biggest #Lakers fans out there. When my wife and I were just 17, young parents with our first baby, we were at his house watching a game. My wife casually said, “I wonder how much those seats cost.” Without hesitation, he replied, “Don’t worry about it, you’ll never be able to afford those seats.” That moment could’ve crushed us, but it didn’t. Even at a young age, we knew our worth and refused to let anyone else define our future. We didn’t allow his doubt or anyone else’s to become our reality. Instead, we used it as fuel. Never in your wildest considerations or nightmares would you join one of our legacy competitors that doesn't care about you. If Ramp can make expense management sexy, you as a founder can make your category sexy. At Hanover Park we wanted to build a hacker culture. A team of elite engineers, who otherwise might join an AI lab, and have a deep obsession with building for the most complex fintech and data problems in the world. That's a very different value prop than a legacy fund admin we compete against."

Then we chose a two story, four story, or whatever height building we needed. Then we built our own sets on top of them. We started the film with a one-story building and built our set right on the edge of the real building’s roof. We built it so that we could put platforms out and constructed the scaffolding on the side so that the camera man could be up there and shoot down. I remember how we had to put the platform low enough and narrow enough so that the camera man could miss it when he was shooting down at an angle. The platform would be fourteen feet or so below us. From above it looked no bigger than a postage stamp! It was loaded with mattresses in order to break our fall if we did slip as we went through our antics. We didn’t want to commit suicide just to make somebody laugh. But we were always in danger despite this precaution. Falling even a short distance was no small matter. Besides, we could easily roll off the platform because it didn’t have any railings around it. In those days, we didn’t want to divulge how we performed our stunts. We didn’t want to give away any of our techniques for fear of making the public disillusioned with the thrill of it all. Looking back, it seems strange that we would have this worry, for the thrills were far from artificial. The danger, while not as great as it might appear to the public, was nevertheless still very real." 🐻 : "...either way, thee is thee, and Pond is Pond. When we finished the whole story, I myself had to send thee back to his own world as well. But if we talk about thee in my perspective, he is a character that holds a lot of value to me cos he is one of the turning points in many ways in my life, too. It's not just about making more people know me, but it's about getting to practice my acting and various skills through learning from thee via all the workshops. There are some things that can be related to applying in real life within the entertainment industry or in the parts of work that we do. So, it's considered one of the characters that I am very happy to have played. And I also believe that many people, whenever thee is mentioned, would want to go into social media to watch some classic scenes again for sure. Cos he is like a character who might look serious, but I feel he is a character that is like positive energy, like a smile for everyone on bad days, including myself. And whenever we have time we'll sit and watch like, yeah, like when we're traveling abroad, long flights, or during jet lag and stuff like that. I would sit and watch and feel like, 'Well, it's pretty funny.' At least, when we watch ourselves play, we react to ourselves the same way viewers react, like, 'What are you saying? Why are you doing that? Smart, handsome, why are you rolling your eyes?' And we look, and we sit and watch, and we like it, and we feel like it's one of the good memories. This game is entirely "vibe" coded. I spent 6 months using AI to replace Unreal Engine from under our game Em-8ER. Now we're developing 93x faster than we ever did before with Unreal.
