Unnecessary and overkill game design skipping nonsense outside of the place it is tailored to (Ochkanatlan). Varesa, Mualani, Kachina, Iansan, they are more grounded and sensible Genshin exploration characters. Take this free flight nonsense back to WoW or FFXIV.

Tbh I really didn’t enjoy this exploration mechanic. It only worked if you went along specific paths where your phlogiston would replenish. Otherwise I felt I ran out quickly and would fall out of midair with no nightsoul left. Also Chasca is a pain for maneuvering small turns
