As long as students are protesting peacefully, the use of force against them is unacceptable. There is no confusion, exception or political convenience in our stand.

Jharkhand's INDI alliance govt has filed FIRs against over 600 students for protesting against the govt. During Jantar Mantar, the same ecosystem demanded that there should be no FIRs even against “protesters” even those with criminal backgrounds, despite their involvement in violence. But in Jharkhand, the same ecosystem is filing FIRs against peaceful students.

Will Rahul Gandhi condemn the police action by the government he supports? Are the students of Jharkhand any less deserving of justice? Student rights cannot depend on which party is in power.
