Qatar’s Prime Minister: We are blessed with an abundance of resources. We have been a leading energy supplier, a leading LNG supplier in the world. What happened was a big disruption for us, and this is one of the greatest risks that we were calculating — and also our partners have been calculating. What we have ensured from the beginning is to be very transparent with our people, with our partners and with our customers. Yes, we went through a challenge, but it doesn’t mean that this will affect our credibility or our reliability. And as soon as this issue is resolved, Qatar will fulfill its commitment.

In the coming week, we will have more international contacts to strengthen our country. They will enhance our positions in Europe, in relations with the EU, our EU neighbours, and international institutions—those tasked with protecting international law. We are also preparing new military aid packages for our warriors. After this week is over, we will be able to say that Ukraine has strengthened. It is critical that we see more clear agreements in our bilateral relations each week, as well as increased resilience in our defense coalitions' supplies of weapons, ammunition, and vehicles. I am grateful to everyone in the world who assists us in exactly this way—ensuring that coalitions work and that the resilience of our warriors is based on the resilience of our partners.

There is no starvation in Gaza, no policy of starvation in Gaza, and I assure you that we have a commitment to achieve our war goals. We will continue to fight till we achieve the release of our hostages and the destruction of Hamas' military and governing capabilities. They shall be there no more.

The Liberal Party made a commitment to the victims’ families of the Bondi terrorist attack that we would deliver for them in the Parliament, and we delivered on that commitment. We will continue our focus on lower taxes, more affordable energy, bringing the budget back under control and keeping Australians safe.

#WATCH | Delhi | Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal says, “The whole argument that is sought to be made is that we are reliant on the US for our trade… But the fact of the matter is, no trade can perish, and no manufacturing can take place in the country without energy. Where does our energy come from? It comes from the Middle East through the Strait of Hormuz… What leverage will we be left with if our energy resources are depleted... I request the government and the PM that this is not the time to remain silent. Iran's retaliation for petroleum and gas resources in the Gulf will ultimately destroy our economy because we are dependent on gas, LPG, and crude oil from there, and it will take years to restore these resources..."

Fox Business’s Edward Lawrence: “[N]ow that oil is just about up or $60 a barrel, when is the administration going to start refilling the Strategic Petroleum Reserve?” Karoline Leavitt Karoline Leavitt: “That's a decision for the President to make and our secretary of energy. There’s no imminent — imminent plans to do that from what I understand, but as you have seen with the plummeting of oil prices in this country, it’s because this President and our Department of Energy have really tapped into our resources here and we have an increase of supply, unlike the previous administration that totally hampered our domestic energy efforts, but totally robbed and drained our strategic petroleum reserves. So, when the time is right the President will make that decision but, right now, we are utilizing the resources that God blessed us with right here in our country to produce energy for our people.”

"Decisions will come in two years for all projects." Let's be proud of that." Tim Hodgson
