Maybe I was never meant to be “on the inside.” If I worked in the White House, I’d be shackled by the same rules and red tape that protect the very people I expose. I wouldn’t be able to shine a light on the rot inside the Federal Government or catch people like Maurene Comey hiding in plain sight. In D.C., everyone’s knifing each other to climb the ladder. They tried to knife President Trump, and they have tried very hard to knife me too. But, when people in DC get cut, they talk, and they come talk to me. They don’t hate me because I lie. They hate me because I have never changed. And in a town where everyone sells out, that terrifies them.

But when something addresses the concerns of the American people, we need to find common ground and get things done. This isn’t just about the election in 2026 or the election in 2028. It’s about right now. It’s about making people’s lives better now. A lot of people will say, “Well, the Republicans didn’t do that. They didn’t help Biden get things done. They didn’t work across party lines when they controlled the House.” And that’s true. Frost: One of the Republicans today, in response to the birthright decision, said, “Well, you know, we’re disappointed in it because there are people who are gaming the system, taking advantage of the system.” And what they’re saying is there’s people giving birth to children in our country. I thought this was the pro-birth, pro-family party. And my other question is, if they don’t want people to give birth, if they don’t want people to have families in this country, what do they want them to do if they get pregnant—have an abortion? I mean, the whole birthright citizenship thing, and the way they’re responding to it, just calls out the hypocrisy that they do not care about families, they don’t care about children.

Today, I was the lone no vote on increasing the fuel revenue indexing tax. Several people talked about how they’ve generated one billion dollars in revenue from this tax. They’ve made that money off the backs of hard-working people in Clark County who are buying gas who have to get to work - they are paying a tax. That’s where the one billion dollars came from. Now they want to extend it for another ten years. But unlike in 2016 when it was passed on the ballot, now they want to do so without a vote of the people. Yes, we need roads and we need people put to work, but it should have been done the correct way — by a vote of the people.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that Congress is working well. Part of the reason is that the people there don’t reflect the life experiences of the American people. We need people in Congress who understand the struggles so many families are facing, and we need to address the barriers that regular people face when serving. That's why it’s so important to make it easier for women and families to have a voice in Washington.

When I talk to young people, what I hear from them, they feel like the only way they can stay in the city is if they keep living with their parents or leave the state entirely. We have to make it a place where they can aspire to dream in the city and also treat them with the seriousness that they deserve because what we'll find in our young people is leadership.

Now to put more conditions and disturb the House, when the government is willing to have full fledged discussion in the House. Using NEET, using young minds, young students, the Congress party is doing what they are notorious for- disruption of House, no discussion in the House because the truth will come out, and the action taken by the government will all have to come out in the discussion. So they have no cause for further agitation. They don't want that, and therefore they are disrupting. They don't want a fair discussion, because when the truth comes out, it is they who are politicizing a sensitive issue which relates to young people of the country. Even now, I appeal to the opposition, particularly to the Congress Party, that engage in a comprehensive debate, discuss the issues here. If more steps are required, the government will answer the questions here, but discuss. No point in shouting down ministers who are willing to answer. The leader of the House is willing to speak.
