TLDR for those who don’t want to watch: Liquid is leaving counter-strike after this new roster change and moving Elige onto the Train Simulator 2023 team

If this is what you feel is best for your organization, so be it. That’s your decision. As a North American fan first, I will never support this organization again — financially or otherwise — and I’m sure there are others who agree.

You can’t say you want NA cs to grow and then completely abandon it

Thank you for this. It does actually help illuminate (and soften) the blow.

Don't really matter how yall think of it, leaving NA is losing a huge part of the fan base

Really informative vid, whilst it hurts to leave the NA core/identity this video makes a lot of sense! Excited to see what you guys will do and will always be cheering!!!

Hold up how is this a wake up call to NA players it just means the only huge NA organization has given up on NA future talent and NA progression finally you said we failed to revamp na cs go but actually YOU FAILED. Eg may not be the best or a good org but at least they are doing

"A player like Patsi does not become available just all the time." I don't understand this statement at all. Does TL not have the pull/cash to buy him out from an org like Spirit literally at any time? I feel like they could have bought him out mid-RMR if they wanted.

Can’t say you want to rebuild NA when you leave NA with a new international roster. Or is that just me not trusting in the process?

As always, the transparency from our org is always top notch. While the disappointment NA didn’t work out and the loss of Elige and Nitr0 stings, there are bright days ahead with this roster. Can’t wait to see what this move brings 💪🏼

Understand but disagree that there aren't NA players that they could have signed sooner to invest in NA. At least EG tried clumsily. Also, if they think EU players are the key, I would like to invite both of them to step down to be replaced by EU coaches and analysts, too.

Those last statements from JokaSteve just don’t sit right. They seem very backwards if I’m gonna be honest. You want this to be a wake up call but yet you’re ditching the region.. I mean if anything that just puts another nail in the coffin that’s already been almost shut.

Seems TL management is missing fans' points. It's not about losing the NA core or even Elige, it's about abandoning that for THIS lineup. What's there to be excited about? What's the storyline? People are fans of players and stories, not logos and corporations.

No NA Academy teams, no tournaments hosted, never show up to local tournaments outside of BLAST and ESL, ignored rising NA young talents for people like Shox. Only keeping Osee because you guys don't want to lose your spot to 3/5. Let fallen and twistzz get run out too

I understand bringing in new talent and international players. But the fact that Liquid not only is abandoning NA CS, but stealing the only Legends spot is heartbreaking. I can’t respect that

Might need to go see an optician since oSee is still there.

this is top-notch communication. thank you for this video. I think many in our cs scene will disagree on choices and decision but we will all agree that this is the best way any org has decided to communicate. kudos!

I admire the transparency. I truly hope that @ESL and @BLASTPremier come up with incentives for NA to remain in CS. Yes, the NA scene is dead - but for it to be given up is frustrating to see. This move will push MORE people to Valorant and make the NAscene worse. Sad to see. :(
