Israel is a decolonising story. The Jews were constantly invaded, oppressed, displaced and still managed to return to their native, sovereign homeland. The Muslims believe, and their book says, the day of judgement won’t come until they kill all the Jews. They spin a story for the naive and simple left in the west to mask that.
