Sad thing but long time ago it wasn’t possible to control cat population, it was like a plague, they multiply a lot and destroyed everything so often in rural areas they used to put the kittens in water or bags, it was pretty normal thing to do ..it’s life

Well I knew as a kid as I was raised on a farm and sometimes its eather this or the mother will kill the kittens if there are too many or unhealthy
