That is until people realize Bitcoin’s function as collateral does allow you to never sell. If borrowing costs 10% annually and it appreciates 40%, what’s your net spread? This lets you get cash, never sell, and never pay cap gains tax. The lending market is going to get competitive which means less risk for borrowers afraid of things like liquidation, counter party risk, custody, etc. Stay tuned!
